House Decorating Contest

Register by October 26th (Judging takes place October 26th – 28th)

Transform your house to celebrate the spookiest season of the year! From now until October 26th, enter for a chance to be named Spookiest House on the Block, Scariest Block in Town, or Most Spirited House.

Judging takes place the weekend of October 26th. Winners will be announced on the CHA website and at the Hill-O-Ween Costume Parade on October 31st.

Oakwood Arts Costume Drive

Now through October 23rd at Oakwood Arts Center (3511 P Street)

The Oakwood Arts Center is hosting its 9th Annual Costume Drive! Through October 23rd, the community is invited to donate new or gently used costumes for kids in the Church Hill community.

Robinson Theater Fall Festival

October 26th, 3pm – 5:30pm at the corner of 29th Street and Q Street

Join the Annual Fall Festival at Robinson Theater Community Arts Center for Trunk-R-Treat, music, games, a costume contest, and more family friendly fun!

Costume Parade

October 31st, 5pm – 6pm at Libby Hill Park (2801 E. Franklin Street)

Kick off Halloween night with a fun parade, spooky music, treats, and pictures!

All children are encouraged to participate in costume. Pets and parents welcome too. Also, get a map to see the spookiest houses in Church Hill!

Ghost Tour & Neighborhood Meetup

October 30th and 31st at Patrick Henry Pub (2300 E. Broad Street)

Church Hill’s colorful history has produced a cadre of restless spirits. Led by Haunts of Richmond, Church Hill residents can explore the neighborhood’s spooky past in a 90-minute walking tour.

Not in a ghostly mood? Come meet a new neighbor at Patrick Henry Pub starting at 8pm on October 31st.
