Libby Hill Park House Restoration
Located at N. 28th and E. Franklin Streets, Libby Hill Park is one of the three original parks in Richmond’s park system. It was originally called Marshall Square, and the view of the James from Libby Hill Park is said to so closely resemble the view at Richmond upon Thames in England that it gave the city its name.
The Park House has been an establishment at Libby Hill Park for more than 100 years. Over the past century, community members have pitched in to help with repairs and renovations. That time has come again. The Friends of Libby Hill Park group is collecting donations to begin repairing the windows and sills of the park house. Please contribute below to this important restoration process.
