What: The CHA holds two summer community picnics to engage and unify our neighborhood. The August picnic is typically our “Back to school” picnic, where we have a focus on youth and education and conduct a school supplies drive.

When: August 15, 5:30pm-7:30pm

Where: Chimborazo Elementary School, on the blacktop along the 31st St. side of the school

Details: Folks are welcome to pack their own picnics, or check out the food trucks we’ll have there. Bring school supply donations or cash donations to contribute to our neighborhood schools! (If it rains, we’ll hang out in the school gym.)
