About CHA of RVA
The CHA of RVA (the Church Hill Association of Richmond, Virginia) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of civic-minded neighbors working together to keep our community safe and beautiful, and to preserve our heritage as we grow. We manage programs that benefit our neighborhood; host year-round events; and work hand-in-hand with surrounding civic organizations, the city and the state to provide a voice for all of our residents. Our volunteers, members and board are dedicated to our mission, and you can join us at any time.
Mission: Preserving our history and creating our community’s future.
Purpose: To advance our community’s collective quality of life through educational and charitable activities including infrastructure, development, historic preservation, health and safety, community amenities, and the general common good.
Bylaws: With our recent formalization of 501(c)(3) status, we are in the process of establishing a new code of bylaws to help govern the CHA of RVA into the future; allowing members to understand Board procedures and decisions as they affect Church Hill and the association.
